In response to Epic providing new payment choices with lower prices, Apple has retaliated by blocking Fortnite updates and new installs on the App Store, and has said they will terminate our ability to develop Fortnite for Apple devices. So even if you do have Fortnite installed on your iOS device, you can’t download the latest update (v14.00), Chapter 2 – Season 4. It also means you can no longer download any new updates released for the game. It effectively blocks any chance of downloading the game right now if you don’t already have it installed. What this means is that anyone who owns an iOS device can no longer find and install Fortnite from the App Store, which also happens to be the only way to download new apps on an iOS.
